gratuitous dressage sunday

I love party dresses. I certainly have enough parties to attend with Junior League, other volunteering and my husband’s theatre, but as mentioned in a previous post, at times my casually-dressed social circle barely lets me get away with looking made up, let alone wearing something as gratuitous as this gorgeous, fun little dress. I can think of absolutely nowhere I could wear this dress and have people take me even moderately seriously.

Also - ha! - I already have a pink, foofy strapless party dress for which I have not an occasion. And a black, multi-colored sequin foofy strapless party dress that I wore for an hour on the cruise before I got seasick and retired to the bunks. Facing facts, I have enough party dresses.

But I love it with all my heart. It is going to make someone very happy.
