2010 flew *by. I did lots of things in 2010: I traveled; I overhauled our apartment; I got promoted at work; I learned more about how to be married; I did adult things like open a savings account and pay down credit card debt. There were also things I didn’t do: I didn’t highlight my hair even once; I didn’t renew my gym membership; I didn’t print or order any of our wedding photos despite frequent harassment by family and friends. They’re on Facebook. What more do you want from me?
As I mentioned last year at this time, I’m not into New Year’s resolutions per se. But as I remain interested and inspired by personal style – cultivating mine and observing others’ – I do want to be more attentive to this blog. And should I regain any readers, I hope to make this space more interesting and move beyond merely posting links of things I like to creating more original content.
But life does get in the way. I will do my best.
Good faith effort No. 1: I caught some great shots of the sunrise and sunset on our family holiday cruise to the Florida Keys and Bahamas. Here’s to a great year ahead.

See ya, 2010!
*When I typed this, I actually typed “flew up” first. What do you think that means? 2010 flew up.
